Important Information on Course Changes for 2010-11

The Department of Applied Human Sciences made the following changes to the Foods & Nutrition program, which came into effect in 2010-11.

Changes to 2nd Year:

  • FN 222 (Food Service Systems Management) has a new course number FN 321 (Food Service Systems Management) and moved from 2nd semester of 2nd year to 1st semester of 3rd year. As a result of this change FN 321 (Food Service Systems Management) (formerly FN 222) was not offered in the 2010-11 academic year.
  • FN 321 ((Food Service Systems Management) (formerly FN 222) is a required course if you are interested in applying for a dietetic internship. If you are currently in the 2nd year of the Foods & Nutrition program and are interested in applying for dietetic internship, you should register for this course for January.

Changes to 3rd and 4th year:

  • FN 432 (Program Planning and Evaluation) and FN 332 (Community Nutrition) switched places in the sequence of courses for the Foods & Nutrition program. FN 432 (Progam Planning and Evaluation) is being renumbered to FN 382 (Program Planning and Evaluation) (formerly FN 432) . FN 332 (Community Nutrition) was renumbered to FN 434 (Community Nutrition) (formerly FN 332).
  • As a result of this change FN 434 (Community Nutrition) (formerly FN 332) was not offered in the 2010-11 academic year. If you are in the 3rd year of the Foods & Nutrition program, you should make sure that you are registered for Community Nutrition for January.
