Congratulations to the FANS team for a successful Run for the Cure! Carolanne Nelson reported that the event was a lot of fun despite the cold and rain, and the team won the Post Secondary Individual Challenge Award 2011 for being the top post-secondary fundraising team in PEI. Dr. Dany MacDonald has received funding from the Social Sciences Humanities and Research Council of Canada. The funding from (SSHRC) is for a new research project: SCORE! Using technology to design and deliver positive youth sport programs. Dr. MacDonald will be collaborating with Dr. Leisha Strachan from the University of Manitoba.
